September 27, 2017: Sabrewing Welcomes New Team Member

Sabrewing Aircraft announced today that it has  added several graduate students from Computer Science Department at California State University - Channel Islands new sponsor/team member. The students will be developing the Sensor Interface Computer ("SIC") - both hardware and software - for the Rapier air vehicle. The SIC is the "nerve center" of the Rapier UAS in that it interfaces and controls all the functions required to allow the UAV to fly. CSU Channel Islands is rapidly becoming a preeminent university in the field of UAV/UAS controls and software.
